I had to pause for a moment. I searched the vast plains of my vocabulary, my repetoire of sly remarks; But found a single action to fit the occasion- I smiled. You encompassed in that very moment, every desire and need, any certainty or doubt; That may have, at one point found refuge in my mind. I desire you- For the way your face plays a symphony to my soul. I need you- Because I see in your regard a reason to improve. I am certain- Simply as a result that you have chosen me. I am doubtful- As a consequence to how unreal this feels. I wanted to hold you in that moment, not because it felt so right, letting you go seemed so wrong- Nothing to separate us, air resembled a traitor. Just keep coming my way, approaching how you have been. Just keep smiling my way, making me feel what you have been. I had to pause for a moment. I searched the vast plains of my heart, my scathed soul; Found a single person that made me live this occasion- I smiled. I saw Sarah. One day there might be no more to write, but I'd like for this story to go on. Because as long as she lives through my thoughts- I can always hold on. |

Lovely "The rising morning can't insure that we shall end the day; For death stands ready at the door to snatch our lives away" |
