Never Could Gain

I been lookin for myself in the sky
I been lookin for myself in the sun
And I just wanna ask why
I had to try
And look for myself
In the eyes of some stupid guy

I had try and look
Into eyes who couldn't even see
The slightest possibility
Of him and me

And then my friend started liking him too
Oh, that was just another blow
I claimed it all right, I said I didn't care
My hurt I couldn't let show

I went through my days
Full of sorrow and pain
Longing for something I never would gain
