Take my picture down, put it anywhere you choose. There's so much more to say. You tell me that it's nothing new. What's been done, what's been said? It's all been said. These conversations make me sick, and I am tired of thinking that this world has let me down. Try to assume I had a part in all the points you're making while my world is crashing down. I'll kiss you goodnight again in pictures, pretend I'm fine. Is he everything you hoped for? Will you miss me when you're gone? There was always the other one that you kept around, the one you tried to hide away from everyone. There was always another way left to fight with me. I don't regret the beginning. Maybe if I wasn't so swept away. I'll try to forget the ending. It was nothing more than a memory. These conversations make me sick, and I am tired of thinking that this world has let me down. Try to assume I had a part in all the points you're making while my world is burning down. I'll kiss you goodnight again in pictures, pretend I'm fine. Is he everything you hoped for? Will you miss me when you're gone? It all seems so predictable, measured out in 3x5's and captured in a frame. Flash back and focus on the negative. I'll kiss you goodnight again in pictures, pretend I'm fine. Is it everything you hoped for? Will you miss me when you're gone? ...when you're gone... |
