Just One Last Breath Today I woke up in one hell of a scare My life is broken and nobody cares My mum is lying on the ground She has passed out and I am the only one around I pick her up and rest her head “I’m sorry she whispers”, I tried to make the bed My family doesn’t understand just how sick she is They expect her to do it all but she’s tired warn out and lost her fizz She has had cancer so many times; I’ve been by her side and dried up her tears But this time its worse and I can’t handle my fears I’m so scared she is going to die I love her so much I can’t say goodbye Please god you cant let her go I’m afraid to tell you I need her so I need her to hold my hand and tell me it’s all going to be okay To promise she loves me in more than one way A new day has dawned, my eyes closed tight The young lady I love is dying with fright She is my mum and I’m proud to say so But this can’t go on she can’t leave me, I can’t let her go [This message has been edited by RevengeIsMine (12-30-2006 04:16 AM).] |
