you wanted find a way to get through
without so much a slap on the rist
for doing things for reasons no one knew
you pulled harder and tightened your fist

was it really worth it to risk it all
just to see if you can get by once more
cause this time you actually DID fall
it happens to everyone and they close the door

but now that its over you start it again
pushing hard at the wall in front of you
harder and harder determined to win
you must be stuck to this act like glue

and when i look back to all of this
i realize that it wasn't you being dumb
i was watching you, with me out of focus
it was me that has always been numb

I really liked this. It reminded me of past experiences in my life, so I related well. i think almosst everyone can relate ot this. GREAT WRITE!
