Damn the alarm
The ringing in my head
The singing in my heart
Fire burning, fire fled

There's an elf in the forest
I wish not to seek
Keep your heart, it's there
You know the water isn't weak

The forest is doomed
For elves love to hide
There's safe places to be
To die and not abide

Damn that alarm
That need to run away
The horrid cold I fear
For peace you will not pray

My melancholy is purely my own
