Crush

It all started out
When we were both so naive
Where I was foolish and
held my heart out on my sleeve

You always glanced at me
Like you were hypnotized
Almost like you were held captive
Were you memorized?

Was there something about me
That I didn't notice?
Is it me or do I feel a crush?
Inching its way up to where I'm left powerless

I feel this rush
every time I see you
Is it me?
Or can you see me through?

I always end up catching my breath
When I talk to you
Do you do this too?
Like the way I do?

Is this love that I'm feeling?
I guess Cupid cast his spell
But why is it hard for me to talk to you
Is it that hard to tell?

I don't think this crush
will be going anytime soon
But it feels like im being held under
Held by the tide of this monsoon

When we hang out
do you feel that there's something more?
That I'm completely memorized by you.
I can't believe how much of you I adore

But I don't see much hope for us
If I even had a chance
To have a little bit of confidence
in this game of romance.

This was...incredible. I loved it so much. I can relate it alot to my life with, well...you know who, lol. Great poem zach, keep up the awesome writing!!
