Well today my lil brothers dog died. and even though he was just a dog my brother loved him more than he loved anything else. This dog saved my brother from his time of darkness and he spent every dying second of the day with his best mate. So this my friends goes out to My Lil Bro and proves that a "Man's Best Friend" truely is his dog!!

R.I.P Bundy Pups!!

They say he died today

Fell right down to the ground
Trembled but never made a sound
With bloodied hands he sat n cried
Like somehow it was him that died

I stood by the school office with bloodied hands
Fractured tears and solmn demands
He strided down and gave me a hug
“Hey big sis and lil bub”

I took his hands and started to cry
There’s been an accident, you have to say goodbye
He knew straight away that something was wrong
“Come on lil bro we haven’t got long”

We stood by his body it was lifeless and cold
He was shattered and broken but couldn’t be told
He took his last breathe and screamed out in pain
And that lil boy fell down in vein

I took him home not a moment too soon
And we buried his body beneath the full moon
It was then that boy lowered his head
He was crying, his best mate was dead

It was then he fell down to the ground
And with bloodied hands he never made a sound
His best mate dead he was all he had
No wonder this little boy was sad

He’d had him since he was 4 weeks old
He let him sleep with him the nights it was cold
He hunted him on the open plane
He drank with him when he felt insane
He cried with him when it got too much
The dog was cured by my brothers touch

I’m sorry little bro it ended like this
He was a soldier that’ll be sadly missed
He’ll watch over you when your not strong
He’ll be your strength when things go wrong
He’ll stand beside you on a warm sunny day
He’ll be your friend every step of the way

They say a dog is really a mans best friend
That will stay with you until the very end
He may be all that boy had of his own
But that young boy with never stand alone

For the shadow of his pup will stand by his side
Together united with nothing to hide
Until they meet again theres one thing to say

Another angel was made today!

Your an amazing friend and apparently an amazing sister.

I hope your brother is getting better.

I had a hard time letting go of my "man's best friend" You did your best and this will be something for him to get over.. Great job..

Lil bro's doing a little better today he wanted to go back to school so mum and dad let him and i picked him up.. I showed him this poem and he cried. I've never seen him cry quite like this before. My brother may be 15 but he was once ver voilent and agressive and this dog saved him and he's no longer like that in anyway. Tonight he ate for he first time since the dog passed away and it was good to see him smile at my pathetic attempt of homemade Apple Pies. That little do was a ledgend in our family and may he rest in peace!
