This is different from ym usual style. Well, had a major break through. Have been hanging onto the last shreds of a very long friendship which ended very messily, hoping that if i could somehow cling onto it, it wouldn't end. Silly me. So, i have had a revelation. feel free to comment on it. =D Flying Solo Put that song on 100 decibels loud Hold my head up Stand up proud Take down that box Ease off the lid Think about the bad times Thinkof what you did Take that special picture Of us beside the sea Using silver blades Seperate you from me Tear down the mementos Screw them up for good Rip the memories up Just like I should Have done so long ago Ridded my life of you Wiped you from my mind What else could I do? Forget every tear I Cried and cried again Forget the hurt and sadness Forget the aching pain I don’t need you I can do this alone Farewell to the memories Whats done is done Put that song on 100 decibels loud I can do this alone Without you around [This message has been edited by Octave (09-20-2008 04:17 PM).] |

I liked the poem...it's going in my library. However I'm not sure whether I'm happy or sad for you. Hope it's all for the best. Don't believe Everything you Think |

I love this poem and I can also relate to it. "Put that song on 100 decibels loud I can do this alone Without you around" So many times I've blasted a certain song that has reminded me of someone- I think it helps but sometimes it just reminds you : / . Good luck letting this go, I know it's one of the hardest things to do. Great poem. |
