Years of heartbreak and disappointment.
This isn't new to me.
Tears have to be shed to build a stronger self
But how can I been so blind to see?

I know this isn't hard
But you don't know what to say.
Can't find the right words to help me
Tired from keeping these thoughts at bay

I know my futile tears
will never change the past
I have to move on from this.
Can't live and let this last

I'll watch you grow happy
And have a family to grow old
But it hurts me deep inside
My heart is growing cold.

I know I'm better then
To hold this grudge inside
But don't want to talk about it
Don't let this deep fire to come alive.

I'm gunna forget about what all happened
And take my lesson I learned from this song.
You got to learn from your mistakes
The show must go on...

Its been sometime that I've written something good. Trying to get back into writing..

hey man, this is great. my favorite part is listed beneith. its a great poem and i just wrote a guitar piece that fits perfect with it, so the rythm was really easy for me to get. loved it dude, for real.

you really do write extremely well...don't worry about any temporary mental blocks. they all subside eventually.
