Losing Battle As I erase your life, The map of my heart fades, All my memories die, Gone for ever, But really, Our lives our are indispensable, Never to stray out of sight, Locked in heart forever, Fingerprints all over this body of mine, The gallop of my thoughts, Living on forever more, Never to be put in the dark The storm of my dreams Crashing up your shore Trickle of wishes Fine and sweet and pure Curling, yellowing paper Of ancient doubts But memories stay alight Burning on, glowing light Hand in hand Forever more On grows love On throughout There’s the mark you scratched That still stains my heart The memento of lost love Never fading, never shrinking Never losing love Thanks for taking the time to read and comment. =] |
