the night is growing lonely
just like myself
sitting on a curb alone
these street lights melt
this city seems so cold
and it never sleeps
just a endless hunger
like an evil beast

i stand up from this curb
and i look around
staring through these stained red eyes
im so burnt out

how could the world
become this cold
so dead to everyone else
is there no hope
which way is the right way out
we'll never know
we can only keep walking
on this one way road
