I wish these Words would Leave Me

I thought of you today,
My bloody mind rebelled
I thought it would be different
But those thought all repelled

And I can’t help but wonder
If you ever pause to think
Of all the things you said to me
The things that made me sink

So while you lick your nick-like wounds
My heart must be sewn
The animal that you’ve become
Is on I’ve never known

Did you really mean it?
When you said you’d wished I was
Never in your sight again
That I’d lost your trust

These words can’t be written
The one I wished I’d said
But yours will be replayed
Redone, remeant, reread

Maybe this is what it takes
To let you finally see
That once I was so different
You couldn’t let me be

I liked this, i can really relate

If you love someone, let them go. If they come back, they were always yours. If they don't, they never were.
