In Need Of Rescue:

They all think I'm tough,
They think that I'm so strong,
They think of me as powerful,
They couldn't be more wrong.

Really I'm quite fragile,
Really I am weak,
Really I am powerless,
Really I am meek.

They think of me as their protector,
They think of me as a body-guard,
They think of me as a warrior,
They think of me as hard.

Really I need the protection,
Really I am scared,
Really I'm in need of rescuing,
Really I'm unprepared.

They think that I am brave,
They think I do not cry,
They think that I am coping,
They think that I get by.

Really I'm a coward,
Really I cry tears,
Really I am struggling,
Really I have fears.

They think I'm some sort of hero,
Really I'm the victim,
They think that they need me,
Really I need them.

I'm sorry you're still hurting Danielle. But never sell yourself short, strength can only ever go so far and when it can go no further it persists.
