A Foreign Soul A foreign soul that never seemed Her place in m en to find Found solace in her father’s songs That ne’r failed to rhyme We sweep the island off the seas To have the sands to count But the wind must spoil everything The sands spilt in a mount Solace can only last The winters, nights, and moons But I was saved (I bless my stars) One frozen nighttime’s noon How could a soul so twin to mine Be close and yet so far? So ready just a chance to take And save my soul from mar That chance, so slim and slight That we could be the other’s half Awakened a fire within my soul Count my mind so daft "Lucy: I think you are the most selfish person on the planet. George: Well that's just silly. Have you met everyone on the planet?" |

I really like that. I loved the stanza- "How could a soul so twin to mine Be close and yet so far? So ready just a chance to take And save my soul from mar" Nice stuff. Keep it up. =] |
