A Blind Darkness

Starting off with a perfect pace,
soon we'll all be running.
Trying to escape the world it's self,
praying for hidden answers.
A world of dark that will curtain us,
save us from our sorrows.
No sun to shine through our lies,
only echoing screams.

A tainted dream to cover for the hurt,
a lie to make us live.
Keep us swiftly from the rain,
catch us before we escape.
But let us out and we could see
the things that reality does.

Great poem Em. Very true too. Hope to see you back home soon...we all miss you lots. And if you did - m o v e - I would have a suicidal lala and fungus. please come home. but ya...great poem by the way
