Truth lies in the
unsuspected places
pain hangs over me
like a dark cloud of misoury
you don't care
you never really did

i waited too long
or maybe you just weren't there
waiting for me
you say that you always loved me
but now its too late

even though the things you feel
i do as well
when our hands touch
i feel magic and you can tell

but its too late
you waited to long
or was it i who waited
and was ashamed

ashamed of my heart
ashamed of what i felt
ashamed of who i was becoming

you have a way with words
a way with your eyes
they hypnotize

are you a mask
if so why do you hide
is it worth all the lies
if you tell me you have stopped
when i dont even bring it up
why do you say it if it is a lie
just being added to the pile
that will soon crash down
with out a word
not even a sound
