Letting Go My wrists are torn and bleeding I lay here afraid of my next beating Scared of you, of the pain you bring I am only hanging on by little string I don't want to be here I don't want to feel this I try run for a place to hide when I see your fist In the night I lay here brutally beaten and bruised Because of you and your insecurities I am abused It so hard for me to hide inside all of this pain and sorrow Most times I wounder if there will be a tomorrow He is the abuser, my only bringer of pain To him I am the loser. The blood Is what i drain Why doesn't my dad love me. where is all of his love and care? Why does he always push and shove me since mom hasn't been there? You see the bleeding on the outside but on the inside I am bleeding too With all of the hate that he is feeding and the way he is treating me too I feel like letting go I have nothing more to hold on to anymore This life I will throw because dad only leaves me bleeding from my sores [This message has been edited by HersheyKiss (06-12-2008 12:59 PM).] |
