I left him on a warm summer night
when I was seventeen.
Stars and fame and Hollywood lights
were all calling to me.
I waited but he barely said a word,

when they got married in May.

he'd do anything for her,
she's everything these days...

So now I'm sitting here alone,
with a glass of chardonnay.
No one here, I'm on my own
with a heart heavy with pain.
I can only blame myself for this,
I'm the one who closed that door.
I shouldn't have let him let me leave

OH My Gosh i am awed for realz i don't think i have ever read some thing that hits me with as much umph as that did. i can definitly say i would listen to that if it were a song on the radio and i agree with the person who said it sounds like a country song i wow i just can't get over how good that was.
