A seething pain
Claws at your heart
Tears fall
They are forbidden
Forever you are
Labeled “failure”
And everyone
Seems to know

How this happened
You are still unaware
All you know
Is your label
It seems to control you
Although you fight
It is all in vain
Choose wisely

What happens next is up to you
If you choose
To continue
Or quit
While you still can
You need to know
That they can not be trusted
So why try?

The words they say
Contradict themselves
They can’t seem
To keep it straight
