Okay guys i'm insainly rusty as you can tell and before you say it.. another sappy love poem... i can't write love poems you guys know that but i gotta start writing again or i will go insane.. anyways.. ______________________________________________________ I Wish You Were Here The days of dreams and wishes are floating out the door The days of me and you don’t exist anymore Here I am and I’m lonely, you’ve left me here alone I guess just for a little while you couldn’t put down the phone Do you know how much it hurts, how much i bleed for you Can’t you see the blood running from the heart you’ve torn into? These scars aren’t getting any better and I’m not getting up So here come take a sip, drink this poison from my cup You’re sitting there and your pretending like this is all okay But the truth is you can’t see that I’m rotting in my own decay I see the denial in your eyes, the illusions that seem so real If only you had the chance to feel just how i feel I’ve given up all hope you’re so bad for me I know But living here without you is like having winter without snow Your shallow heart is deadly but your my drug of choice Your the sparkle in my eye, the song inside my voice These memories that follow me like shadows now prove I’m only dreaming These emotions held inside of me can’t be heard above the screaming I’ve seen your act and i know all the facts, but I’m still in love with who I wish you were It ain't hard to see who you are underneath, but I’m still in love with who I wish you were I wish you were here.................................... |
