this road is lonly when you walk it alone with no one to help you as you stumble along standing on the gallows in the middle of the night the world grows cold as you turn out the lights so write this down and take a little note onto blank paper that will never grow old these are the memories that make up your soul keep them close to heart as they bend and fold the gun is loaded and the steel is warm from where the smoke eroades into the storm i dont think that your ready for this so close your eyes for one more goodbye kiss close your eyes as i sing you this song the light is growing dim so i dont have long i guess ill just keep stumbbling along because your always right and im always wrong |
