it hurts to breathe when you try not to,
it hurts to live when your already ruined your life,
it hurts to move on when your past holds you back,
it hurts to know the truth because you're the one who made the lies,
it hurts me cuz i cant have you back,
but you dont want me back,
and ill except that,
i just hope he treats you better that i have,
i hope he protects you and loves you more than i do,
i hope you'll forgive me cuz i'll never forgive myself,
but i'm over now,
i'll be hiding in those shadows of memories,
that will forever torture me,
i'll be over there saying i'm fine but i'll never will be,
it's if as though i got shot by myself,
i'm going to stop now cuz i know you dont care,
and you should'nt,
there's no way i'm gonna get your trust back,
but i'll keep trying,
my self pity harms me so i'll stop,
i just want you to be happy,
so i'm going to say goodbye,
i'll see you in the next life.

well whoever it was for, it came from the heart and it was beautiful and honest which is the best kind of poetry.
