now I look back where has time gone gone with the wind a blinking of the eye at the end of the year our paths we said would always cross but where are you now all that we went though together heart breaks and love classes and fights as I try to remember the good times a sorrow builds up inside for now they are not here a memory i can not get back your future beckons who knows where the road will take you thats what our principal said and never did we argue this point but one thing we all agreed on we'll always be mates no matter how hard i try I'm only left with feelings because when the summer ended you all went your separate ways uni, and travel kids and marriage all took there preference happiness and despair rolled into one happy thoughts of the good times despair that I have them no more after all that has happened all thats left all thats gone I'm the one left behind I don't care if you think I'm a fool but don't ever tell me so |
