This is really different for me.. normally all my stuff rhymes.. and i don't know if this classes as a poem its more an opinion lol.. but anyways tell me what u think..

The Raven Of Truth...

Some people believe that ravens guide travellers to a desired destination
Others believe that the sight of a solitary raven is considered good luck
Whilst more than one raven together predicts trouble in the darkness ahead
Where will life take us, where will we land amongst this sorry storm of our life?

And i ask myself, does this darkness have a name
This cruelty, this hatred How did if find us
Did it steal into our lives or did we seek it out and embrace it
What’s happening to us?
We now send our children into this world, like we send young men to war
We hope for their safe return but we know some will be lost along the way
What happened to us? Did the dark of night capture us and suck the sense from our brains
Tell me, when we lose our way

Remember tonight, as it’s the begging of always
A promise, a reward for persisting in life for so long alone
A belief in each other and the possibility of love beyond this darkness
A decision to ignore the uncomforted and rise above the pain of our past
A convent of truth which at once blinds two souls and severs all priorities
The celebrations of a chance taken and the challenge that lies ahead
Because two will always be stronger than one during this storm of life
Be like a team braced against the tempests of this world
Tonight is merely a formality of an announcement made to the world
Of feelings long held, promises made long ago in the sacred space of our hearts
The space that darkens as the raven’s circle, a space that will become torn.

There are moments in our lives when we find ourselves stuck at a cross road
We’re afraid and confused, lost without a road map
The choices we make in those moments can define the rest of our days
Of course when were faced with the unknown, most of us turn around and go back

well we can't live in the past, and some people should just stay put when they are confused about which way to go. Some people just can't find there own map so they wander about stoping here and there for a few minutes before they start wandering again. I don't really have answers for things like that but i just thought i would say what i thought.

Very very nice. The flow needs a bit of work but the philosophy is amazing.
I agree with you in many ways, why does it all happen? First we have to make sure we have the answer to why should it not? After that my ideas pretty much run dry.
Good write by all accounts.
