She gave me my name, Her talent came along with it, I never knew his name never once saw his face, but they all said I looked like him. He came home and shortly I became his little girl, Who knew she hid me from his world. She tortured my soul, Hooked me to her ways. Then she left, I became a normal little girl wit a past, Till this day Im reminded of what I once was, Things changed I no longer had a tortured soul, no longer followed her ways. I try my best not to become her, but with every step I take I feel like her, They all say the same " Lexis your just like your mother!". Im not her shes not me, My name is Alexis and hers is Colleen, I dont know what you see in her that you see in me, but I tell you over and over again Im just being me. |
