I'm the puppet in black

I am a puppet, wooden with strings.
Look how I dance, laugh, and sing

Society controls me with their thoughts and cliques
Thinking of it makes me sick.

I don't want to become one of them
But my lips are sewn shut like a hem

I am a puppet. I have no say
My strings of hope are stedfast and will stay

They think I'm stupid cause I'm made of wood
I want to be free. I know I should

They want me to be popular and cool
But acting like I'm not makes me look like a fool

But the puppet master says "Dance, Puppet, Dance! He said with a grin.
I know this struggle. I know I wont win.

I finish the dance with a finishing pose.
How will I get free? Only God knows....

I don't want to go off on a screaming fit, so I will sit here thinking about your message, trying to contain my rage at what socity is. I will not yell about our stupid world, I will contain my veiws about the stupid GAME we play. I will not say that THIS IS SO TRUE AND NO ONE EVER DOES ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!!!

Wow Earl i didnt think someone would scream and get mad about the topic i was writing about and yes this does happen and it does make me mad as well!! But sometimes theres nothing we can do to stop this kind of tourture we call society and popularity... But thanks for your insite and opinions.
