The rain is falling without a break
My emotions are winding like a snake

Twenty thousand worried faces
Every single one has sent my mind to the races

Running from my emotions is not okay
I know my friends and will talk to them today

Please forgive me for the mistakes that i have made
I can't leave.. I'm only in the 7th grade

Although my withered heart is gone
I feel a new one growing and will be done by dawn

Use your head and take this to your grave
And I promise you that i will be brave

I'm going to put the knife down now
Cutting myself helps my problems how?

I'm no coward, I'm just not myself
I'm nobody's toy, I will not be put on a shelf

I haven't changed my ways
I've just been locked inside my body for so many days

Please don't worry i am doing fine
I know I'm not alone, we are all just fruit on a vine

I really hope you feel this way.
It does nothing to help you and it adds new problems...ones that might be a lot harder to deal with than what was buggin you in the first place...

Also i noticed i was in your poem.

"The rain is falling without a break"

I see falling and then rain put that together and what does it say. Falling rain!!!! lol sorry i just notice the most ridculious things lol

Wow, great poem!
And I'm glad to hear- from what I can tell- that you're doing better.
And for the record, what everyones been saying is true- cutting yourself does create more problems than it solves, so if you've stopped, that's amazing, and well done you! =D

Keagan I am so happy to read this & I know Zach is also. You will ripen with age & are far too young and have much to offer than to wither on the vine. You have more people that care about you than you realise, take it easy mate and....keep your chin up! John
