The Sun Sets For Anyone Who's Willing To Sit & Watch (I'm Only Me When I'm With You)

So maybe I should have seen the signs
Read the writing on the wall
Realized by the distance in your eyes
That I’d be the only one to fall

Sometimes I think we’re working
But then you push me away
If only you could realize
That you tore my heart out today

My Prince Charmin’s out there somewhere
Even I know that’s true
But the truth is I’m only me
When I’m standing next to you

You’ve got your wish
I’ll go without a fight
You don’t want me anymore
So I’m leaving here tonight

Wonderful poem! There's just one thing that's confusing me. "That’d". Is this just a typo or is there a flaw in my grammar?
