An epic battle with a cat, An accident while cooking, The lies dripped like syrup, Stuck like tar, Words inexplicably entwined with glass That takes a while to draw blood. Head off the tears, Block them with sweet distracting pain That lives a life under long sleeves. Chimerical scars and fears, Too real to be true, My logic winds around a doctors mind, Sense has no place in a world, Where I burst out of my body, spilling, Leaking, into everything else, Or shrink like cold metal, To a pit that cheer cannot reach. I am sorry, I am sorry, To cause you so much pain, But tell me, tell me please, If my flesh cannot split, What else can I do? |

This is so sad, that's all I can say. A good poem, but just so sad. Life is a rollercoster, you live for the ride. I hope you'll feel better soon. Some things are meant to be in the dark. |
