you always blame me,
for one thing or another,
it goes unforgiven,
i should have known better,

i storm off,
raving mad,
knowing this,
does it make you glad?

maybe if i pretend,
to be more like you,
you wouldn't be mad,
and critisize everything i do,

but if i acted more like you,
everyone would hate me,
for you,
everyone would hate to be,

so i'll just be me,
and take the blame,
because toying with your anger,
is not a game.

p.s does anyone know why we aren't allowed to post on the other site?

This poem was awesome, btw! I loved how "you" considered being like "him" but said no! It was an amazing job...

My suggestion would be on this stanza though, "but if i acted more like you,
everyone would hate me,
for you,
everyone would hate to be," This one is a little bit confusing at first when you read it, I know that it took me reading it twice before I really understood what you were trying. So, I would suggest that you make it a little clear(er) to read, but that's just me.

Once again, what other site?

I liked this poem a lot. You can definetly hear a sense of aggrivation running through it, but also a bit of pride and... remorse maybe? Whatever it is, I thought it was fantastic.

i think this poem is great and i can totally relate to getting blamed for be "you" when you're supposed to be like "them" i don't even know if i can explain it right

The reason the Teen Poetry #7 forum isn't being used for new poetry is because it's full, so we've moved on to #8. It's exciting because there's so much great poetry here at this site and there's so many writers who continue to post.

(Just thought I'd clear up your question.)

thank you cuz i was like so confused about that but yea it's awesome with a new site cuz i can now read allllll the poetry in the site it would have taken me years to read all the poems in the other site... glad to know i can almost keep up to reading everyones poems:P...
