The market I’m walking in the market The sights and smells abound Not one busier place In the world could be found I bartered with a man or two Lost my better things Then found a kindly man Who sold me silver wings The price he asked was quite obsurd Such a deal could not exist “Take them free” said he to me “Only now follow this list” It was a list of places to go Places without it I’d never know Gladly I went and found great deals Earplugs, glasses, and a place in the show Now I stand at this next stall After tasting a lesser part I now am gambling With my dice, and heart I know here I was meant to come For here I found great love But now I’m buying much too much Loosing the wings of a dove As the dice begin to fall But before I see the score I’ll barter for my heart again For my wings that I might soar I have earned such great things From the greyest witch’s stall But if I gained here any more I’d loose my list and fall Charity and tolerance Are the good things which I’ll keep But now I’ll barter all I have That only wheat I’ll reap It is not enough I know But I have a friend And with his ever loving aide This is a happy end "Be Strong and Always Remember what made you you." Earl "Ooo!!! Ooo!! I know! I know! um...he he" Earl (Yes I am crazy) |

I can't see the meaning here, I'm sensing a meaning yet I can't quite grasp what it is yet. Yet another good poem on your part. Does your ink turn to gold when you write, because it seems like it to me =) |
