Words of Lore The words that fall from your lips Would protest that you would think That the notion of loving has not touched air But is not far from what you speak The profession which you love so dear Enticements made of lore Have made my world of words of speak For words last ever more So can we just deny That feeling which you feel I wish things could be simple Or fake instead of real But maybe it is good You’ve saved me for a time For things were so much worse Than my silly words of rhyme The denial we both intend Is but that and nothing more We are falling ever fast I for you and you for lore and in the daylight i miss the nightmare- but deathly fear it in the dark of night |

fable- story- usually like a story or legend that old men tell- or that the village women would whisper about by the well- legend, story, myth, fable, that's just a cooler word for these, it's also travler's tales and the like- it's a broad range of meanings. -Kate and in the daylight i miss the nightmare- but deathly fear it in the dark of night |

Hmmmm I feel like I'm not quite grasping this one quite yet. Maybe the person is falling in love with the notion the fable, of falling in love...hmmmm that doesn't quite seem to fit. lol Oh well. Wonderful write Kate! I realy enjoyed this, even if I don't understand it yet... "Be Strong and Always Remember what made you you." Earl |
