Its that time of year again
When I heal all my regret
It’s taken me a whole year
To remember to forget

So now it’s a new slate
To all the people i did wrong
I ask for your forgiveness
I ask to get along

For all the people that have hurt me
I forgive all that you’ve done
After all I’m only human
And today i want some fun

But still i keep on crying
It happens every year
I seem to find a reason
To make me shed a tear

This year nobody’s remembered
No card not a thing
I guess it takes a miracle
To make somebody sing

I grab a bottle of Jack
Count, One, Two, Three
Here’s a little toast I say
Happy Birthday dear old me

So happy bloody birthday
No cards to hang upon my shelf
A sin is just a tragedy
And the tragedy is myself
