I Have Met, Myself, a Crossroads I have met, myself, a crossroads The cruelest type beknown And fair the way, the solid path Enclosed in both a moan For love hath crossed me swiftly In two directions fly It matters- cares not for the burdens But only the matter of why I’ve kissed a many shallow Fair winded opportunes But yet have left to mind myself Blind so many moons How could I dare to think Or wish for mock and glee But death at heart hath fondled The deepest sense to flee In places two and troubled I can not play this game To lie and sweep the murderous Would bring me hate and shame So, which path may one so take That would lead to sun and cheer I can not now decide Which one I hold more dear |

i liked the ideas in this. i thought that the style of words got in the way at times. what inspired you to use words such as "hath"? again, i did like the ideas in it. |
