“For all sad words of tongue and pen, the saddest are these, 'It might have been.'” Inspiration; Or a feeling synonomous... Racks my soul, My very being All that makes me who I am My soul stirs And rhythym; the occasional rhyme My tragic, life-saving gift from God (Known to the cynics as poetry Rather than the puzzle pieces of a being, of a soul) Brings the dormant light again to my eyes The sleeping song to wake in my heart. And so I ponder the quote above Its meaning, And its relevance to me, Coming to the conclusion that I may not be living For everything that for which life exists... What experiences have I not beheld? The count of these so like the stars, So many lives possible within one There cannot be one road, Merely one starting point and many possible ends many choices each leading to another, another... Is there no simple solution, To ease my rampant soul? It now seems the quote above Mourns not the sin of indescision But rather the inabilty To experience everything possible in a life Or lives... Though we are given but one So much to live for But we had not the time... |

wow this is really good. "What experiences have I not beheld? The count of these so like the stars, So many lives possible within one There cannot be one road, Merely one starting point and many possible ends many choices each leading to another, another..." Hmm it was an interesting read I found it more to be a concept in poem form, I didn't find much flow but it was interesting to read |
