What is right?

The road ahead is blank
And there is no one out to stare
At the guarded face
Withering in despair

The shallow skin that protects
The frailties underneath
Is poorly giving up its warmth
To the wind and a wetted leaf

The water- cold and uninviting
Entices you come forward
You’re being pulled right into
The waves against accord

But that doesn’t change the fact
That you’re changing quickly now
Into someone I don’t know
Who acts sometimes quite foul

And you’re beginning to understand
That life isn’t black and white
It is more or less of virtues
And what is mostly right

and in the daylight i miss the nightmare- but deathly fear it in the dark of night

i cease to amaze you!?! oh no, then i must not be doing my job! lol, i know i know you forgot the word 'not', lol. i'm sorry i love to pick on people, it just means i like you- as a friend . . . lol. aww thanks, it's nice to hear that i'm appreicated and that my stuff is gettin gsome of the attention it needs.

Man Kate I feel for you. This is such a great expression of some of the most annoying things in life.
I heard it said once that "There are two forces in this world, black and white, only people are grey." My only problem with that is I spend so much time with people that my life becomes grey to! And then like you said its a question of whats mostly right.

hey earl, thanks, that means alot to me. lol. oh and did the email i send you seem to big to read- sorry. lol. it was a lot, lol. it's a lot of fun lol. and i've never heard that saying but it seems straight and right as anything, only people are grey.
