Am i good enough? Your sweet,loving voice is like the sirens call The euphonius, haunting singing drives me to my death I saw this coming but your face blocked my thinking And now my heart is in your hand bleeding to death I thought i was good enough but in your eyes I was just a waste of time Why me? Why me my love? I gave you my heart My soul My mind Why me? My tears overflow I can't hold the pain this time This hurts me uncontrolably I have to go Figure this all out But your sirens voice sings in my mind Driving me crazy every second of the day Once again my mind is in a fog I thought i was good enough But i was wrong once again Now my heart is on the floor cold and hard Like marble stone Cold and lifeless... I thought i was good enough good enough for you... But i guess i was wrong ------------------------------------------------- I was listening to "Good enough by Evanesence" at the time i was writing this. i was just getting an idea on what to write about. In my opinion i thought the song was better than my poem haha. Hmm i might have met you before but then again maybe not. The world is pretty big and i think it would be shocking if you acctually did meet me. But yes perhaps she isnt as bad as i say. I liked her... but beautiful things like love just didnt seem ot last like i hoped it would. o'well life moves on right? ~Zach~ |
