Do my Words Play in your Head? Do my words play in your mind? Like the words of children’s rhyme That with once ago- in child’s place You with love and hope embraced Are you tired of standing still? When there’s so much time to kill Waking up the world beneath In disbeliever’s disbelief I hope that maybe you will see What my dear words have meant to me They make up most of what I am Building refuge like a dam I want my words to last through time With a note that they are mine With one look at this sentence I have set the greatest pretense Do my words play in your mind? Like the words of children’s rhyme That with once ago- in child’s place You with love and hope embraced and in the daylight i miss the nightmare- but deathly fear it in the dark of night |

Yes!! This is great Kate (hey that rymes lol) Exelent poem Are you tired of standing still? When there’s so much time to kill Waking up the world beneath In disbeliever’s disbelief I hope that maybe you will see What my dear words have meant to me They make up most of what I am Building refuge like a dam I loved those two stanzas particularly great meaning.
