It Always was a Perilous Life We are ready for the times When the world will die before our eyes It’s getting close and coming near Your body shaking from the fear Promises so short and vain Bound with indeliberate pain We dare to touch the face of death When we discover what is left A simple smile could heal the world But instead our lips are cruelly curled I’m waiting dear, come take my hand We’ll fight our way through perilous land I’ll tell you now- it’s almost a cause lost To try and save the world at so high a cost But we should not let that fact deter All the things we can make occur It’s rocky and sheer- deadly on our side We’re fine my dear, I said (I lied) Time is thin, but I’ll be right here Until I’m taken from you dear and in the daylight i miss the nightmare- but deathly fear it in the dark of night |

I also have nothing to describe this poem or its poet...except...perhaps this "Be Strong and Always Remember what made you you." Earl |
