WATER Tasteless, colourless, shapeless Doesn’t it seem senseless? If I can’t use my senses, How do I determine it’s you? Your warm touch, the coldness in your breath; I believed in freedom when we met. My spirit, my soul, my feelings are kept. Your gentle flow releases me as I ride along the waves of freedom. But just like everything else, you aren’t forever. The ocean, the sea, the river… Oh just the thought of drowning makes me quiver. For now, your ghost is in the rain shall keep me company. When I am joyful, you are there; When I am depressed, calamity is what you share; When I am aggravated, I hear the roaring of thunder. You’re everywhere, from the highest of the spirits to the lowest. Vaporize and disappear is what you do, It’s not unrealistically new. But before you leave please say adieu because I don’t know when you’ll be gone for good. You’re the transparency that keeps my blood running; The challenge that I have to cross And the waves that gets me across. I wonder how I’ll ever get through this thing called life when you are the most significant part of it? I’ll probably vaporize and be with you through the wind if you ever do such a silly thing like leaving. Hope you like it.. |
