The Pleading Daughter

I know that heaven’s ears
Can hear my pleading words
That nothing stands between what I
Want most and what I’ve heard

But Father- if you hear me now
Could you say you understand
The wishes of your daughter dear,
Would you lead me by my hand?

For just a second
Could you tell me reasons why
I’m need in this kingdom
Or your hope for me in life

I’m falling very fast
And I still can’t see the ground
I’m hoping you will catch my life
And gently put me down

I’m tired of being over
All the bad things in my years
I want to be far past these things
I want to be right here

So Father- if you care to hear
I’ll tell you every word
That goes on inside my head
I just want to be hear

and in the daylight i miss the nightmare- but deathly fear it in the dark of night

this is lovely. it has wonderful flow and it really shows the emotion.
