I have recently Posted in the other forums but i just thought i would check it out here... Say A Little Prayer For Me Our lord above the heavens, I ask of you no more, Except for one last final wish Before you find me lifeless on the floor The glass remains shattered, I can’t stand to pick it up The tears I have once shed of joy Have now completely messed me up Dear god, give me strength, To fight away this pain Give me courage to carry on Because without it I’m insane It hurts too much to breathe Or to be looked straight in the eye No longer can I hide away my pain Because it’s eating me away inside God, Carry me home To the place where I am safe And in the arms of an Angel may I find my eternal resting place. |

"The glass remains shattered, I can’t stand to pick it up The tears I have once shed of joy Have now completely messed me up" I like the imagery in the first two lines of this stanza, I think that these two lines add a lot to the entire poem. The ending was very sad but beautiful also, in a ... different sort of beauty.
