Stuck In the Storm

I know this isn't one of my best but I was bored and had nothign to do. I myself dont' like this poem, I think it sounds ... idk not cheesy...well maybe a bit cheesy. I can't find an other word.

Taking over me, inside and out.
Surrounded by thoughts I can't
live without. Trying to escape
an unbreakable bind, looking
for what I will never find.

A life full of torture, a death
full of hate. Nothing is equal
to my magical fate. Sinking
to the bottom with every thought
frightening me, I fall deeper into
a black and gloriuos sea.

My hold on life was very thin,
is that why I didn't win? I was
all caught up in everything new
I didn't see the storm in brew.
Now we're stuck here all alone,
we will never find our way home.
