Can we say that we have Conquered Love?

Insolent child, I adore you
Though it’s hard to love one of your kind
I mean every word that I say to you
Oh how I wish you were mine

But the truth is far deep hidden
In a place you’ll never see
You can do only what you’re bidden
And what you’re bidden you’re bidden by me

I feel like the clearest glass
Too transparent for you to view
You’ve not yet separated now from past
So I’ll leave you the next clue

Learn to trust me dear
For I’m the only hope you’ve got
Please just let go of fear
And remember what you’ve forgot

I miss you, who you were before
It seems you’ve lost true humanity
I want to call out my wide open door
And remind you who you should be

So when love is not enough
When the life of souls do not save
Can we say that we have conquered love?
Can we say that we will not pay?

and in the daylight i miss the nightmare- but deathly fear it in the dark of night

I love this one Kate... its got a story behind it and its soo lovable.. Well Done. Lovely write..
