Lost in the eyes of the one i love

As I lay here thinking of you,
I can't help but wonder,
What might happen if you werent taken,
what might happen if you were mine.

I can wonder all i want,
but it won't make it come true.
i'll just have to settle,
with watching you from across the room.

I have given you my heart and my soul,
Hoping that they will make you mine.
You have the power over me,
Please make me feel fine.

As i lay here thinking of you,
only one thought comes to mind.
Will you ever love me back,
Will you ever be mine.

Love... it is the best feeling in the world... but beware.. the path to happyness can hurt alot

awww this was cute, and much improved. i liked this, and most of us write on things that happen in our lives, that's part of what make poetry magical, (some of it's true).
