This took a while to finish, but I'm proud of it. Special thanks to RenaissanceRomanceRunsRed, young_blood, Artic Wind, and fromme2U for their help. It was their suggestions and kind words that helped me to finish. P.S. Still needs a title...

Daylight, save me
from this nightmare,
that I call my
life.

Alone, I face these
troubles that I
conjured on my
own.

Each and every
step I take
draws me to the
truth.

And now I now that
ever battle
can't be conquered
alone.

(Chorus)
So please be
the dawn to my day.
Lead me and
light up my way.
No matter
what they may say,
I need you!
So why don't you stay-
with me?

Your love woke me
from this daydream
that I chose to
live.

Awakened from this
life of lies
that I've drawn
myself.

Searching for some
desperate answer
to this portrait of
pain.

And together, we will
paint a future,
more than just
disdain.

It's at the end
of the night,
that
I try to delay...

It's at the
start of the day,
that
I long to say;

Won't you be
the dawn to my day?
Save me

I really enjoyed this. And it doesn't matter that you can't sing, it was beautiful just to read.

So no more hiding all your pain, you deserve a new start. That's why i'm closing myself away, this is a message from your heart.
