I'll be there when you call,
be there if you should fall...
But nothing more.

You can lay your head,
and your sorrows,
on my shoulders...
But I can't bear them for you.

When you're alone,
just dial my phone,
And I will answer...
Nothing less.

Lay your hands,
heavy with hurt,
on my own,
But i can't hold them forever.

I won't say I'm sorry,
But in the end,
I can't say good-bye,
So I'll stay by your side
as a friend.

So I'll be there,
should you call.
I'll be there,
to break your fall.
And maybe...
There'll be something more.

This song/poem (still can't decide which) is the result of almost a month of thinking. I've decided that I'm going to stay a loyal friend, instead of revealin how I feel. I love her as a friend to much to risk our friendship. We're both to young, and my head's clear enough to realize that.

I am glad that you have finally made a decision. I know that must have been hard. I loved this, it made me think of an old friend of mine. I wish you the best
