There is a figure in the shadows He lurks behind me,watching my movements Never a moment does he fail to see me. His presence is everdaunting on my soul. He comes from deep beneath the earth Ever spiteful, he tracks me down, Always attacking my spirit through suffering and never ceasing to further persecute my soul. I feel no longer able to see good in life Spite and Hate are in control of my judgement. He still does not relent on his pursuit of me, and as time goes on my body grows weary. Shall I ask thine God, why this curse is upon me. He has pushed me beyond my physical limits. I no longer can defeat his will on my own. Shatter the bonds of hate, and save me oh Lord. |

"Always attacking my spirit throuth suffering" I think you meant through not throuth. It was good but always double check your spelling before posting your poems. Maybe I'm just obsessive but if you want the reader to flow with your river you need to keep the poem going down stream. If you know what I mean. It's still a good poem don't get me wrong. |
