Here, you've locked me in this cage
How will I ever break free?
You come by,
Tell me all of your secrets
I'll wait here,
Slowly writing down your story

I'm the only one that can let myself out
Break away from your life,
Break away from my own
It's lonely at the bottom
Yet, I can't seem to life myself up

I'll always be here
I'll always listen to your story
But will the day ever come
When you stop to think,
"Should I ask for hers?"

I know you'll be a sun in somebody else's sky, but why can't it be mine?

well, you certainly caged my attention with this piece. it was incredibly amazing.
